Chupie had a nice visit with the MIL this afternoon. I started half-ass packing and scrubbed the mildew out of the bathtub. I even took the trash to the bins so BD didnt have to (bitch about) do it when he got home. I must have inspired him because he mowed the lawn tonight as well.
I made a lovely cold lentil salad and Jerk chicken for dinner. After we ate we got a pizza. Im afraid my family will never be healthy.
I made a big decision the other dayIm going to keep my fingernails short from now on. I am lucky in that I can grow very nice-looking healthy fingernails much like my hair, but after they get long I dont so anything with them except break them. Off they go. Whew, what a relief.
I started tackling the craft desk today. I have a lot of crap. In my Utopian Fantasy I will have a lovely, well organized and perhaps even color-coded craft area when we move (much inspiration comes from the NLIG for that one)Well see how that goes. I at least need a spot to set up my ancient sewing machine and be able to use it.
My face is still full of snot and the child fell asleep with pizza in her hand sometime around 7PM. I think were still sick. We have a lunch date tomorrow but I may have to cancel as I have a feeling shell wake up later tonight and not want to go back to sleep. If she wasnt sick I would wake her now but I figure she needs her rest.
Chupie is very excited because we promised her a cat when we move. Shes already named it Gilbert, which comes out sounding like Gilbird when she says it. Hopefully Will has stocked up on allergy medicine. Ive also promised her a flower gardennow to learn to garden.
I have about a million hours of work to do on the website so I suppose I should get on that.
