Still sick. Still sick of being sick.
Chupie and I had a lovely lunch date with Will and a mutual friend of me and The Sister. Of course Chupie got sick on the way there AND on the way backguess shes not out of that carsick phase yet.
We were sluggish today because early early this morning some neighborhood hoodlums either broke into a car (not ours!) or were breaking bottles and the police were called. Seen as how we keep our front and side porch lights on and the living room lights were on the police knocked on our door about 3AM to ask if we had seen or heard anything. BD and I had both heard the breaking glass so her went out and spoke with them for a few minutes. Chupie, who woke up at the very faint tapping at the door, was upset she didnt get to talk to the police officer.
Thankfully Will called me just before 10AM and woke me up (I had a helluva time getting the child back to sleep after the police left) and we were up and ready before he got here.
When BD got home he and Chupie did a bit a cleaning up in the backyard. He apparently talked her out of her fear of ants (again) that the MIL rekindled the other day by telling her the ants make you itchyHe also insisted that I get rid of my $10 barbeque when we move. I love that barbeque. Its the first barbeque Ive ever ownedor used for that matter. This will have to be discussed.
I was so exhausted tonight I didnt even make dinner. Instead we had leftovers (lentil salad, pita bread, Chupie had leftover chicken strips and BD ate some sort of salsa/jalapeno/sour cream thing and kept showing me the chips saying Isnt that a great looking appetizer? Hes watching too much Food Network these days) and then Chupie and I took a bath. I had grand intentions to pack up all the books tonight. I think they grandly fell through.
Were actually sticking around here this weekend to weed through things and get packing. I am debating doing some Ebay listing. Chupie has a ton of outgrown clothes I could list as a lot and make a few dollars onor I could just donate them. I suppose it depend on how motivated I am this weekend.
I forgot the mention that Chupie took to calling GI Jerk Uncle Finkle and my sister-in-law That Girl (not a Marlo Thomas reference I would guess) we have no idea where she comes up with that stuff. At least she didnt call either of them assholes.
There are screams coming from the other roomsomething about monkeys in someones pants. As much as I hate to say it, I should probably go investigate.
